After a successful public engagement campaign, an application for 51 housing units was submitted to Wealden District Council, under planning reference WD/2022/1781/MAJ. Despite extensive engagement with the local authority, we were unable to reach a satisfactory resolution with the officers leading us to appeal the site with the Planning Inspectorate for independent review. The review is expected to be completed by August 2023, and we hope for a positive outcome.

Should the proposal be approved, it will provide much needed affordable and private housing to the local community. The development proposal will leave a legacy we can all be proud of, providing high-quality homes for years to come.
